Focus on Indian Embroidery

One of the specific skills taught at the OurPlace Sewing workshops was Indian Embroidery. This is a hand sewing skill which involved creating a unique design, twining woollen thread and freehand stitching using traditional stitches. The women have used these skills to make small bags and decorate cushion covers.
