---Textile Waste Project ---
Our intention is to create a women' s making co-operative called Ourplace. A group to offer newly arrived refugee women, low income women and women at risk of social isolation a collective to belong to for friendship, access to cheap materials inspiration and hopefully one day extra income.
Thanks to the fantastic support of the Tasmanian Community Fund, Waste to Wonderful Workshops are continuing with better resources. Women from all backgrounds gather weekly to learn and share textile skills, delicious lunches and have fun together.
